The Safety Council recognized the Board of Lucas County Commissioners, the Lucas County Engineer’s Office, and the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office for their engagement in training and strong support of the Safety Council’s efforts in 2025.

“We would like to thank the Safety Council for its recognition of Lucas County being named its Member of the Year. We take great pride in our culture in working to keep our people and the general public safe,” Lucas County Engineer Mike Pniewski said. “There is no more important responsibility than to make sure our employees and our citizens go home to their families every day.”
